3 hot, sexy, disappointing and frustrating stars.

I was so happy to finally get my hands on Never Too Far, but it didn't live up to my expectations. Which was very strange, because I have never before, until now, been disappointed by a book from Abbi Glines. Still, I am a hard core fan of hers and will be reading her future books, because I believe that nobody writes a better bad-boy than Abbi. I'm sad to say that in this book not only there wasn't any of that bad boy that we met in Going Too Far, Rush turned into a total mess. For the life of me I could not understand his character.
There was soooo much going on. I thought that in this story they will try to solve the issues that were unresolved from the first book. Unfortunately, Glines decided to trow in a bunch of new problems. It would have been fine, but the book was only 180 pages long and it felt like there was too much going on, it felt rushed.

Rush went from "I'm a cute little puppy, scratch my belly and I'll make very cute noises" to a total douchebag. There was a scene were he screamed in Blaire's face and told her to get out of the car in the middle of the night and drove off. She was pregnant for crying out loud!!! I knew that he will come around later with an apology, maybe flowers or some gift, but in my book it's a Oh-Hell-NO! It took him a week to call her. As much as I loved him in the the first book, I despised him just as much in this one.
I could not understand what Blaire saw in him and that is why I thought that she was being stupid. She kept making excuse for his behavior. I kept wishing for her to end up with Woods, who was a really nice guy, he was there when she needed him, went to doctors appointment, while Rush had his head up his ass. And she still loved him.
Toward the end some more secrets started coming out and I was like "What in a hell?!".
My 3 stars are only for the hotness of the story. Holy hell did Rush had some moves :-D. And Blaire turned into a wild little thing :).

But it didn't compensated for his dickiness so...
Usually, Abbi Glines books leaves me slightly hang-over, happy and emotionally exhausted, in a good way, but after reading this one all I felt was annoyance and disappointment. If it wasn't for some hot scenes, it would have been 1 star review. At the same time, this book is not a deal breaker for me, I know that Abbi Glines is a talented writer and I will be reading her future books.
